The Passion Of The Christ
The Passion of the Christ is a film directed by Mel Gibson and released on February 25, 2004. This film depicts the last twelve hours before the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth, which took place in Jerusalem. In this version of Christ's crucifixion based on the New Testament, we are shown how Judas so easily hands him down to the officials of the Roman Empire, where he is later condemned to death after being tortured and nailed to the cross. This film is a great portrayal of the passion of Jesus according to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. |
